Cort Stevens is transported nude and manacled hand and foot in the back of a van. Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge his Master, S.B. David, arrives at the pre-chosen spot unfathomable in the woods. Then Cort is shoved out of the van, still manacled, and ordered to begin walking. Naked, manacled, alone and scared, the barefoot boy get to make his way several miles to where his Master awaits him.
