I have 2 problems with this film. The 1st, and least important, is that it is just not believable as docu-drama; film directors -- even in the porn industry -- just do not sit around all day on the set in natures garb, pulling their knobs. A greater amount serious problem is that, as it is on a real-life porn set, the sex here is imperal and businesslike; Thad is offered a part on condition that this guy can produce an erection on cue and hold it for a certain length of time. One longs for a pair of the beach guys to receive so involved in excitement that they knock over and smash a camera, receive fired, and keep on fucking in any case, but that not ever happens. The centerpiece of The Next Valentino is ... a brilliance aperture vignette in which Eric Manchester engulf the anonymous jock sticking throughout it (Glovers), whilst Steven Hammond, in an electric blue hard hat and 2 days stubble, bonks him gy style.... The most good thing about The Next Valentino, however, is the melding of the narrative and the erotic. - Manshots.
