It's not rare to have a moocher or 2 at the House. A lot of those dudes were brought up with totally no respect for anyone else's property, so they just pilfer smth when they crave it. It's not like they are thieves, per se. They don't steal phones or expensive watches, they just take tiny things like soda or a not many cigs now and then. Although the nature of those misdemeanors are diminutive and somewhat insignificant, it can cause major problems, even leading up to raging confrontations among the residents. After all, when you've lost nearly anything in life due to your poor choices, even your leftovers in the fridge is smth to cling to. It's not a jungle "out there," it's a jungle in the House!
