It's disclosed that Adam has feelings for Drake, and fears that if Drake goes throughout with this, they'll at no time watch every other anew. If Drake escapes, Adam will be left here to fend for himself, and if Drake acquires caught, then he'll be punished and probably moved to a different part of the facility.
