I'm often asked why it takes so lengthy betwixt my feature projects—part one of Answered Prayers was released in October 2013, and now here we are on Part Four: The Lamb. My answer to that question is usually the same: "It's not time yet."

While that is a facile answer, the truth is not that effortless. The process of creating our feature film projects with those awesome, glamorous souls is one as well as the other a pleasure and curse, as there are so many conflicting emotions, needs, hopes, craves and expectations attached to the process.

Also, my process—while creative—is chaotic at superlatively good. In fact, my team is often surprised to watch the last result, even after experiencing the battle it's taken to receive there. However, no one is greater quantity surprised that myself, since I am often overcome with fear, upset and self-doubt. I discover that, greater amount and greater quantity, it is this fear and doubt that creates the chaos that often rules our life's work, love, and being.

Oddly—or maybe it's the universe's idea of a unmerciful joke—from this chaos, great things can happen. From breakdowns come breakthroughs. And to that degree this is a necessary unmerciful in my creative process, the theme of Answered Prayers and the inspiration for The Lamb.

That told, there has been no greater pleasure and blessing than having the ability to work with a group of astonishing performers who allow me the opportunity to the one and the other understand and know em in an effort to create their performances. They give me the gift of trust, and it is that trust I am so really grateful for, cuz out of em, how I work would not be possible. Please shower em with praise, cuz for many performers, positive energy and authentic praise is worth greater amount than a bit of silver (And don't we all feel a bit more excellent when saying a kind word rather than a jab).

More than ever, I'd like to thank my collaborators in Love and Life, RJ & Benny, for suffering the worst of my chaos, but still loving at the times when I'm blind to that light.

And Cilantro Che Guevara—our movie scene editor, the translator of chaos, a champion, and my hero! Thank u for always finding the most good in every performance and each episode. Your dedicated effort is appreciated well beyond our editing bay. Thank u.

As always, thank u to every of u who support our work. It is what keeps this all going and challenges us to work harder, to move beyond what we all make no doubt of and await is possible.
