It's an age-old story. A pleasing juvenile lad from somewhere in Middle America leaves home for the large town with no thing but his fantasies and the shirt on his back. He makes his way out to Hollywood, shooting for the stars. His petite city upbringing can't possibly prepare him for what the town has to suggest. Like the thousands that came previous to, he'll discover that Los Angeles is not all bright lights and movie scene stars. Most of those lovely youthful souls won't strike gold on California's shore, instead, if they're fortunate, they'll end up with a fistful of copper. Billy Boy is the tale of one such miniature city lad, just trying to receive by in the rat race of the Golden State.
