L'Avarice is the 1st video of the Algocep series, and deals with avaerice - the 1st of the seven capital sins. Its 1878 in Périgord, and Julot - a youthful beggar - is robbed by the excited and greedy village priest. To recover his full purse, Julot get to pay with his soul at the presbytery at sunset. The pious deacon, the groom from the chateau and the Sri Lankan servant all contribute to him getting justice when an accident happens.
