Scout Logan was a worthy chap. He was always very careful about the way that guy looked, that guy listened intently to the Scoutmasters, behaved himself impeccably, and worked greatly hard. St. Michael was recent to the troop and Logan didn’t even know what this guy looked like. As the lad knocked on the office door, his heart started pounding with nerves. The Scoutmaster appeared to be a little aloof, but this guy was amiable sufficiently. He was around 40, attractive and tanned with indecent golden-haired hair. Because of his name, Logan had half-expected him to be French, but that guy spoke with a southern drawl, which the chap rather liked. Logan took a unfathomable breath. His nerves were replaced by a sense of passion. His ambition was about to be realized… St. Michael opened a blue velvet box and removed a pin which that guy somewhat fumblingly attached to the shirt collar on the boy’s uniform. The Scoutmaster then took a second pin, which that guy attached to the other collar, and then some other, which this guy pinned to the boy’s breast pocket. Logan was suddenly aware of the significance of the pont of time. It nearly felt like a baptism into manhood. He felt ten feet tall.
